Not so long ago in Japan, it was a representative dish that captured the hearts of men. Now it seems that men are said to be no good unless they can cook two or three recommended dishes. In any case, this dish called “nikujaga” is loved by everyone from children to the elderly. It is also excellent as it contains Shirataki, a healthy calorie-free food.

.Cut the potatoes and carrots into large chunks, cut the onions into wedges, wash the shirataki and cut into easy-to-eat lengths.
.Put 2 tbsp of oil in a pan, turn on the heat, add the meat and fry until the color changes. Add the chopped vegetables and fry lightly.
.Add broth and ingredients, bring to a boil, and remove lye.
.Add the shirataki, mix, cover with a drop-lid over medium-high heat, and simmer for about 20 minutes until the liquid has evaporated.
.When the broth is gone, turn off the heat and let it steam for 10 minutes with the lid on. The flavor permeates even more.
