Ever since I was a kid, I hated green peas. It may be because it smells green and there were many canned green peas. After my 60th birthday, my aunt retired from work and devoted herself to gardening and cooking. The green pea rice cooked by my aunt, who is proud of her cooking, is one of the recommended menu items. She uses spring green peas that turn purple when cooked, but any kind of fresh green peas is fragrant and delicious. I make them every season after all.
